Pura Vida Dive and Pacific Quest center is located in Sámara, Costa Rica; one of the most beautiful and safest tropical beaches of the region. Sámara is located along the north Pacific Coast of Costa Rica's Guanacaste Province, and as long been a favorite vacation spot for both Costa Ricans and foreigners. The town is rather small with its main street leading directly to the beach. Sámara has a healthy mix of local and foreign residents and still maintains a somewhat authentic Costa Rican atmosphere.
Sámara is located approximately 36 km from Nicoya, and it can be easily accessed by car or public transportation. This charming village offers a wide choice of hotels, restaurants, bars, discos, banks, internet café, shops and other popular activities for the entire family.
Sámara is a wonderful white sand beach with a long coral reef and beautiful rich marine life. In Pura Vida Dive and Pacific Quest center we speak Spanish, English and French.
Our office is open every day and it's located in downtown Sámara, more specifically behind the Giada hotel. If you wish, you can schedule an appointment with a member of our staff to meet at the beach in front of the main street and we will help you with any question you may have or set up a reservation. If it’s too late at the night or way too early in the morning and you're just dying to go on a tour, we can make it happen! Simply give us a call and ask for Oscar “el Buzo” (the diver).
In Pura Vida Dive and Pacific Quest Center we like to make activities suitable for your entire family. We offer private tours for one or for as many people as you like. (Ask for our mixed tours and family tours).
We will try to make possible any request you may have!
Our boats are located at the end of the beach. We will pick you up free of charge at your hotel (Carrillo and Sámara only), or we can meet in front of the office. We will then take a short trip by car to the boat where the dive instructor, guide and captain will be waiting for you to start your journey and discover the beauty of the Pacific Ocean.
Our boats are adapted to be the most comfortable and secure experience for every customer. The large T-Top can be lowered at your convenience whenever you feel like taking a sun bath! Cookies, snacks, water, juice and soft drinks will be provided and are located in a cooler. Full day trips include a snack.
